Invite to become a member of the Russian American Medical Association

Greetings from RAMA!

We appreciate the interest you've shown in the Russian American Medical Association and our Forum and Journal.

We would like to invite you to become a member of our growing organization.
Your ideas will strengthen our community, and your support will move RAMA's
humanitarian work forward.

RAMA is exploding with new projects.  In the last two years, we:

* Conducted 3 medical missions in Kemerovo that provided life-saving
heart surgery for 36 children, and trained Siberian physicians in pediatric
cardiothoracic care.
* Established advanced training observerships for Russian physicians
and health administrators at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.  Training begins
this year for doctors and next year for administrators.
* Hosted an ongoing Forum for a network of more than 5,000 Russian
American health professionals, and offered a Journal to publicize their work.
* Laid the groundwork for an online market exchange for U.S. and
Russian businesses that make and supply medical equipment and supplies.

RAMA guides medical students through exams and residencies. We connect
patients to health care professionals who understand their language and
culture. We offer medical researchers coordination and a communication
platform for their projects.

The response to humanitarian work and training in the Former Soviet Union
has been tremendous. We are being asked to coordinate new projects in Tomsk,
Belgorod, Yaroslavl and Krasnodar in Russia, and Astana in Kazakhstan, as
well as many other regions where there is a pressing need for specialty care
and training.
RAMA needs your support to continue this work.

Use your voice to strengthen our humanitarian programs.

Become a working part of the RAMA community.

RAMA is a grass-roots, non-profit organization dedicated to humanitarian
service, education, and building the network of Russian and American health
professionals. Founded in 2002 by Russian physicians of North America, RAMA
is not affiliated with any Russian or American government entity or any
other medical association.
